These terms govern your use of Huellas ("the app"), operated by Black Hills Labs ("we", "us"). By using Huellas, you agree to these terms.
1. Service description
Huellas is a platform for capturing and preserving life stories. You can upload voice recordings, text, and photos that are processed using artificial intelligence to generate narratives, timelines, and story outlines.
2. Your account
- You must provide truthful information when registering.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
3. Your content
- Ownership: You own all content you upload (audio, text, photos). We do not claim ownership of your content.
- License: You grant us a limited license to process your content in order to provide the service (transcription, analysis, narrative generation).
- Responsibility: You are responsible for having the right to share the stories you upload. Do not upload content about people without their knowledge or consent.
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your content at any time.
4. AI processing
- We use external AI services for transcription (Groq) and narrative generation (OpenRouter).
- These services operate with zero data retention (ZDR) when available.
- We send the minimum necessary information to external services.
5. Plans and payments
- Free plan: Capture stories for 1 person at no cost.
- Paid plans: Unlock additional people and premium features.
- Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the service for illegal activities.
- Upload content that infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
- Use the service to generate false or defamatory content.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that AI-generated transcriptions or narratives are 100% accurate. Always review generated content.
8. Data protection (GDPR)
- We process data under the legal basis of explicit consent.
- You have the right to access, rectify, export, and delete your data.
- Data is stored on servers in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany).

9. Changes to these terms
